You can buy a kit from this site and make it yourself... Much cooler than the iPod Nano.   That thing is so ugly and ill proportioned it hurts me to look at it.  Good luck with the kit though, it looks hard.

WILD exciting stuff.

Stelarc is well known for his inquiry into the phenomenological body by suspending himself by the skin on his back.... ( gulp)  on fish hooks on-off over the space of 10 years.

Often without an audience, his project was initiated not to shock, but as a genuine inquiry into the nature of our 'bodily' existence in space: how much are we pure mind/body/consciousness?

Woody Allen, the man himself on the Clarinet

A must go if you are a Jazz Lover and in New York. Unless Woody shoots he is at this classy Midtown Hotel (Jacky and JFK hung here) with his New Orleans Jazz band every monday evening. Word is that he has missed his own Oscar nominations before to play the clarinet on monday's in New York. It's an evening which is so New York that you won't forget it  soon. The small hotel bar can house about 120 guests at their tables, no mics or amps are used - all live and if you are lucky you might get a Woody autograph too. (Once he leaves the bar give your waiter a big tip and ask him to get woody to sign your empty wine bottle. He might run off to the back stage entrance to get you the autograph - actually just go there yourself by walking further into the hotel and turn right after the glass door, this way leads you to the exit Brooklyn born Allen takes.
