Over the three years Yolacan worked on the Perishables project her process involved
casting her subjects through agencies, newspapers, and online ads. Yolacan was looking
for Caucasian women in their seventies or older – W.A.S.Ps. Yolacan created a garment
for each individual woman made either entirely or partially out of animal flesh. The
conventional Victorian signifiers of Western feminine elegance, such as puffy sleeves
and ruffles, have been replaced with tripe, intestines, and testicles, transforming fine
drapery into decaying skin.
Truly disgusting. The garments are gross also. Reminds me of a previous 'Nelson Wearable Art Awards' winner consisting of transparent PVC filled with raw bacon.

I'm not really disgusted strangely... The images are beautiful, and isn't that better than just throwing bits of pig away? But I respect your opinion as someone who cares about animals enough to not eat them.
